A FNF PvP rap battle mod

Friday Night Funkin' Multiplayer Mod is a free video game utility that enables you to play against other people in the hit indie music game, Friday Night Funkin'. Developed by Shadow Mario, this mod adds in the ability to play FNF levels with another player—whether on online or local multiplayer mode.

Unlike other mods such as B-Side Remixes or Panty & Stocking, this one doesn’t reskin the game. Instead, it simply adds the option for a second player to control the enemy character that you usually have to battle. It also adds in their own unique fail animations when you miss notes.

Is there multiplayer in Friday Night Funkin’?

Created for the Ludum Dare 47 back in 2020, Friday Night Funkin' is a free open-source rhythm game developed by ninjamuffin99 wherein you must win funky sing-offs against different characters to have a peaceful date with your girlfriend. Due to the game’s easy open-source code, a lot of amazing mods have been created for the whole community of fans to enjoy.

Friday Night Funkin' Multiplayer Mod, in particular, is a mod that brings a much-awaited feature. FNF is a single-player game by default but by using this mod, you can enjoy it in a PvP environment. It has three modes you can select: Single-Player, Local Multiplayer, and Online Mode — although this one can be a bit tricky to set up. Meanwhile, Single-Player Mode brings in an AI.

This mod doesn’t add any custom characters for you to control. It just assigns Player 1 to Boyfriend with the default arrow key controls and then assigns Player 2 to the enemy of the level with the WASD keys as their controls. Even in the tutorial level, Player 2 controls Girlfriend. Take note that this mod is incompatible with others that change the game's executable file.

No more solo runs

All in all, Friday Night Funkin' Multiplayer Mod is a great addition to your collection of mods if you’re an avid fan of Friday Night Funkin’. While it’s a bit hard to set up the Online Mode and there are some mods that don’t work with it, it’s a mostly solid game utility if you want to spice things up with your playthroughs and challenge other players to a match.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
